1. Adaptability and Flexibility:

"The only thing constant in life is change." -Heraclitus, a Greek Philosopher

An Example: Ikea, a market leader in the home furnishing and accessories industry faced a major challenge when the COVID-19 pandemic hit and caused widespread shutdowns and supply chain disruptions. However, like many others, they were able to quickly pivot their business strategies and move his operations online. By being adaptable and flexible, these entities were able to continue serving their customers and maintain the success of their business.

A Definition: Adaptability and flexibility refer to the ability to rapidly and easily pivot in response to new information or circumstances. This requires not only an open mind and a willingness to learn, but also the ability to think on your feet and make decisions quickly.

A Checklist:

Samsung kicked off the trend of the large screen era in the smartphone industry with the introduction of their AMOLED using Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diode (AMOLED) technology showcasing clear picture quality, self-luminescence and larger screen size.

A Definition: Creativity refers to the ability to come up with new and original ideas, while innovation is the process of turning those ideas into reality. These skills allow individuals to think outside the box, challenge conventional wisdom, and find new solutions to problems.

A Checklist:

  1. Cultivate a growth mindset: Embrace new experiences and challenges, and be open to feedback and learning.

  2. Encourage brainstorming: Create a supportive environment where everyone feels free to share their ideas.

  3. Embrace failure: Don't be afraid to try new things, even if they don't work out. Failure is often a stepping stone to success.
